House #1 - Progressive Dinner Party, November 2009
House to House, Course to course.
House #1: finger foods of every imaginable type, plus cocktails! Notice the baked pumpkin fondue above.
House #2: the most delicious red soup with dill cornbread… and cocktails!
House #3: (my house) an amazing asian salad via our soon-to-be downstairs neighbors, a fresh authentic thai vegetable curry, and from an extraordinary friend: the oreo cake masterpiece. words cannot describe.  Plus wine, whiskey, and specialty beers.
I have foodie friends, and oh dearie, I love them. I am happy to say for the last 3 weeks I have been to at least one dinner party every weekend - and another is coming up this Friday, an early Friendsgiving!!! I say AMEN to dinner party season. Since I don’t drink because of allergies these days, unique home cooking is taking it’s place. I’m glad we were able to sign up for the winter csa, so i can try to keep up with some new creations of my own. View high resolution
